Casinhas da Eira are two adjoining houses, built entirely in granite, as is typical in the Serra do Caramulo.
This venture has an excellent location in the historic village of Paranho de Arca, on the western slope of the mountain, 9 km from Caramulo, 12 km from the A25 highway, 25 km from Águeda, Tondela and Oliveira de Frades. Less than 1 hour from the coast and 2 hours from Spain. Its accessibility is very good, as it is next to the National Road that connects Aveiro to Tondela.
The renovation will provide this infrastructure with all the comfort and modernity inside, always with energy efficiency in mind in terms of the equipment installed.
The works include remodeling and adapting the existing building, allowing for 6 bedrooms, living and dining rooms, and bathrooms. This size will create a new job initially, to accompany the guests at reception, cleaning and breakfast, in addition to reservations management.
Providing you with maximum comfort, rest and well-being, and simultaneously giving you the chance to be in direct contact with nature and the possibility to enjoy various activities, it will allow you to enjoy several unique experiences.
In the enterprise room, our goal is to promote local products from local businesses and producers, like honey, burel, a Portuguese handmade fabric, made of wool from the Serra da Estrela sheep breed, cheese, olive oil, wine, wild berries, etc. Thus, beyond the routes mentioned above, it is expected that tours will be taken through the local producers who manufacture the products that will be on display.
