Almofala
A traditional mountain village located in one of the slopes of the Serra do Caramulo. It mostly consists of small granite houses, with sloped roofs and very narrow streets. The inhabitants of this village live off subsistence farming and animal husbandry and wear dark wool cloaks to protect themselves from the cold and rain.
Jueus
A traditional mountain village with granite houses and narrow cobblestone streets. In its surroundings there are agricultural fields, it being one of the means of subsistence of the people. This village is located on one of the slopes of the mountain, which enables fantastic views over the hillside and even over the Serra da Estrela on clear days
